From Noah to the TREVOR PROJECT

I made this donation in Noah Rossi’s name, using the earnings of the pre-order royalties from Becoming Us. If you’ve read the book, you know why.

Becoming Us lives in Noah’s head and heart. It sits with his mental health struggles, his fractured sense of self-worth, the way he learned to measure his value through other people’s love—or their absence. It doesn’t look away from suicidal thoughts or from how quietly they can exist, even in someone who seems functional, loved, and capable on the outside.

Writing Noah meant sitting with those truths. Not to romanticize them, not for shock value, but because they are real. Because so many people carry them silently. Donating these pre-order royalties felt like the right way to honor that story—and the readers who saw themselves in it. It’s my way of saying that these conversations don’t end on the page, and that the pain explored in fiction deserves care and support in the real world too.

This wasn’t about numbers or publicity. It was about intention. About giving something back, in Noah’s name, to a cause that aligns with everything Becoming Us stands for: survival, healing, and the belief that you are worth staying for.

Thank you to everyone who trusted this story, and to those who saw themselves in Noah. This donation is for you too.
